19th Century Chinese Altar Elmwood Sideboard

This large 19th century Chinese elmwood altar sideboard features a rectangular top sitting above 16 drawers flanked by two carved spandrels connecting the front to the cabinet's top.
Original lacquer in black, red and green colors.
Top drawers and spandrels with wood carvings and polychrome lacquer.
The natural wear and tear of the lacquer is emphasizing the antique authenticity of this piece.
In original untouched condition (however the inside of the drawers is renewed) with a light clear surface finish, which highlights the unique patina.
Presumably from Buddhist temple in Shanxi Province, China approx. 1800-1820.
