Pair of 19th Century Swedish Gustavian Style Chests in Coral Red
A pair of Gustavian style chests, crafted from pine and painted in an elegant coral red color. Each chest has three drawers with panel detailing and brass hardware, with the top drawer designed to imitate two smaller drawers.
The gray-painted faux-marble top is complemented by dentil moldings, while the canted corners are adorned with fluted details and topped with finely carved floral motifs. The chests rest on tapered legs with fluting.
Conservator-restored.
