Severin Hansen Mid-Century Rio Rosewood Desk, Model 36
Iconic desk, model 36, designed by Severin Hansen and produced by Haslev Møbelfabrik in 1958.
Crafted in veneered and solid Rio Rosewood – an exclusive wood species known for its deep color and unique grain pattern.
The simple yet elegant design features four drawers with brass keyholes, beautifully integrated into the frame.
The desk rests on four classically tapered legs that emphasize its slender silhouette.
With its timeless aesthetics, this desk is an outstanding example of Danish furniture design from the mid-20th century. The design is clearly inspired by Empire-period forms, combining functionality and elegance in the most refined way.
The rosewood remains original and exceptionally well-preserved, with a striking grain that has only grown more beautiful over the years.
The desk has been gently repolished and is presented in perfect condition.
CITES certificate included.
