Pair of Rosewood Folding Stools by Mogens Koch for Interna, Denmark, 1950s
Mogens Koch (Danish, 1898–1992)
A pair of folding stools crafted in rosewood with seats in black leather, fitted with leather straps for hanging and easy storage.
Produced in the 1950s by and in collaboration with Interna, Denmark, with brass plaques from the maker. One stool with brass plaque from Källemo, Sweden, which produced the model under license from Interna.
After Interna closed, production of the model was taken over by Rud. Rasmussen, but examples in rosewood were only made during the Interna period and are therefore rare.
A classic folding stool inspired by Koch’s folding chair from the 1930s. Presented in beautiful original condition with light patina.
Provenance: Purchased directly from the family behind Interna.
