Large Ebbe Sadolin Unique Art Deco Floor Vase – Bing & Grøndahl, c. 1920–30
Ebbe Sadolin (1900–1982)
Rare large and highly decorative unique Art Deco floor vase created by Ebbe Sadolin for Bing & Grøndahl, circa 1920–30.
The vase is hand-thrown in stoneware with a beautiful light crackled glaze, forming an elegant backdrop for the characteristic Art Deco relief motif of two stylized deer. The decoration is executed in deep brown and blue-green tones with black accents, creating a strong contrast and a vivid, almost sculptural appearance.
The vase is signed “E. Sadolin” and stamped with the Bing & Grøndahl mark on the base. Model: 600/413.
A striking and rare work by Ebbe Sadolin.
