Sculptural female bust by the Swedish sculptor Olof Ahlberg (1876–1956).
The bust is executed in green patinated bronze and mounted on a base of Swedish Kolmården marble. The stylized design, with its soft rounded forms, elegantly uplifted face, and carefully rendered hairstyle, is characteristic of the Art Deco period.
The hair is detailed with finely modelled flowing waves gathered into a low chignon, while the small spiral curls framing the forehead enhance the sculpture's decorative and refined appearance.
