Bjørn Wiinblad (1918–2006)
Stor (H: 88 cm) og farverig tulipaniére fra Bjørn Wiinblad, udført i fem dele og dekoreret i kunstnerens karakteristiske fantasifulde og eventyrlige formsprog.
Modellen "Dyveke" er udformet som en fantasifuld hattedame, hvor et stiliseret kvindehoved bærer en bred hat, mens de fire vaseelementer ovenover danner en høj og skulpturel helhed. De mange åbninger er oprindeligt tænkt til tulipaner eller andre enkeltstående blomster.
Den hånddekorerede overflade er udført i levende nuancer af citrongul, grøn, turkis, blå, rosa, brun og hvid. Dekorationen kombinerer koncentriske cirkler, geometriske mønstre og Wiinblads karakteristiske kvindefigur med mandelformede øjne, rosafarvede kinder og finurlige detaljer.
Tulipaniéren fremstår både som funktionel vase og som et markant keramisk kunstobjekt, der illustrerer den legende og dekorative tilgang, som gjorde Bjørn Wiinblad til en af dansk designs mest genkendelige skikkelser. "Dyveke" blev produceret i flere farvevariationer og er blandt hans mest spektakulære keramiske værker fra perioden.
