Pair of CH28 “Sawbuck Chairs”, designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1951 and produced by Carl Hansen & Søn in the 1950s.
The chairs are crafted in oak with seats and backrests upholstered in black leather. The CH28 is distinguished by its striking construction with angled legs and characteristic broad armrests resting on the frame, giving the chair its sculptural expression.
The organic forms and finely crafted joinery are characteristic of Wegner’s work and his profound understanding of wood and traditional cabinetmaking techniques.
The chairs remain in fine original condition with a beautiful, naturally aged patina. They have remained in the same family since the 1950s.

We would prefer being noticed no later than 2 days before the goods are picked up.

In this case, we will ALWAYS contact you later to agree on options and prices.
- If you do not find there is a suitable shipping solution, you have the option to cancel your purchase or choose another solution.
- When goods and a suitable freight solution is agreed, the amount of the goods purchased is proceeded deducted from your account (unless the payment has already been made via bank transfer.)
