Large stoneware bowl by Danish ceramicist Arne Bang (1901–1983), model no. 189. The bowl has a distinctive fluted body and a beautiful turquoise glaze with dark speckles, giving the surface a lively and varied appearance.
Made at Arne Bang’s own workshop in Denmark, circa 1930–40.
Signed underneath with the AB monogram and model number 189.
A particularly beautiful and decorative example.
