French Art Deco Chrome-Plated Wall Mirror, circa 1920
Rectangular Art Deco wall mirror with a chrome-plated metal frame and original beveled mirror glass, circa 1920.
The composition is defined by a slender rectangular frame crowned by two concentric arches flanked by open geometric sections, creating the restrained architectural expression characteristic of the Art Deco period.
The original mirror retains a beautiful age-related patina with light spotting and wear acquired over time, while the chrome-plated brass frame shows an attractive, honest surface patina that complements the piece's vintage character.
The reverse is finished in wood and hanging hardware.
A refined Art Deco mirror with a timeless presence that works equally well in contemporary and classic interiors.
Circa 1920.
