Architectural and decorative Swedish Baroque chest of drawers in pine with a shaped front and blue-painted surface with a fine patina.
The chest has a profiled, shaped top and three drawers with bronze fittings. Profiled mouldings between the drawers follow the undulating form of the front and emphasize the characteristic Baroque expression.
The case has strongly profiled corners and brass carrying handles to the sides. The profiled lower moulding likewise follows the shaped form of the chest. Raised on four shaped feet.
A fine chest of drawers with a good patina, where underlying tones show through and give the surface a lively and decorative character.
