Pair of Gustavian armchairs made in Sweden in the late 18th century.
Crafted in solid birch with a light-painted finish and natural age-related patina.
The frame features classic Gustavian elements, including fluted detailing on the rails, arms, and legs, as well as carved floral ornaments on the seat rail and back. The armrests are gently curved and finished with subtle scroll details.
Seat and back are upholstered in a light fabric with a discreet blue and beige stripe. Upholstery is in good, usable condition.
Elegantly tapered legs with fluting, ending in carved feet.
A fine example of the Gustavian period with authentic surface and patina.

- When goods and a suitable freight solution is agreed, the amount of the goods purchased is proceeded deducted from your account (unless the payment has already been made via bank transfer.)
