Printed in Paris by the renowned studio Clot, Bramsen et Georges, with whom Jorn collaborated closely during this period.
Hand-signed Jorn ‘69 and numbered 70/75.
The work is in very fine original condition.
This series is considered among Jorn’s most experimental graphic works, characterized by spontaneity, dynamic movement, and vividly expressive forms.
Asger Jorn (1914–1973) was one of Denmark’s most important artists and a key figure in the international avant-garde. A founding member of the COBRA movement, he is widely recognized for his intuitive, energetic, and highly expressive visual language. During the 1960s, Jorn worked extensively with printmaking, often in collaboration with leading Parisian print studios.
Works from this series are held in major international collections, including the Stedelijk Museum, the Bibliothèque nationale de France, and the Henie Onstad Kunstsenter.
