Hans J. Wegner (1914–2007).
Par armstole, model JH 503, også kendt som Den Runde Stol eller The Chair, formgivet i 1949 og udført hos snedkermester Johannes Hansen.
Udført i massiv teak med karakteristisk, organisk formet ryg, der fortsætter i de svungne armlæn. Sæder nybetrukket i lyst beige Alcantara.
Nænsomt refinished. Begge stole stemplet Johannes Hansen Copenhagen Denmark samt med producentens mærke under sædet.
Modellen regnes blandt Hans J. Wegners mest kendte stole og fik international berømmelse, da den blev anvendt ved den tv-transmitterede præsidentdebat mellem John F. Kennedy og Richard Nixon i 1960. I USA blev den siden kendt som The Chair.
Formgivet 1949. Disse eksemplarer udført ca. 1950’erne.
