About the artist:
Asger Jorn was one of Denmark’s most important 20th-century artists and a central figure in the international avant-garde. A co-founder of the COBRA movement, he is widely recognized for his spontaneous, expressive style and bold use of color, which had a lasting impact on postwar European art.
