Unique monumental female figure by Bjørn Wiinblad, created in 1971. The sculpture stands 160 cm tall and is composed of five separate elements in glazed ceramic. Each section is richly decorated with Wiinblad’s signature ornamental style in a polychrome palette of green, blue, and white — a hallmark of his whimsical and decorative universe.
The figure features deep blue twisted braids, which she gracefully holds with both hands, and wears a tall, flower-adorned hat with an open top, making it suitable for use as a vase or floral display.
This piece is signed and considered a true unika, as each example — although produced in multiple forms — is individually hand-painted by Wiinblad himself.
In excellent original condition.
