Elegant ceramic vase designed by the Danish ceramicist Svend Hammershøi (1873–1948) for Kähler.
The vase is executed in stoneware with a beautiful turquoise speckled glaze that gives the surface depth and character. The form is characteristic of Hammershøi’s work, featuring a softly curved body with small details at the shoulder, faceted sides and a gently undulating rim.
On the underside the vase bears Kähler’s workshop mark HAK.
In perfect condition.
