A four-sided stoneware vase by Jais Nielsen, created for Royal Copenhagen, 1930-1940.
Featuring biblical motifs in relief, depicting the Three Wise Men and Virgin Mary with the Christ Child. The vase is adorned with a beautiful sung glaze in grayish/bronze tones and is in perfect condition. Signed Royal Copenhagen and Jais, no. 3544.

Jais Nielsen (1885-1961) was a renowned Danish artist and ceramicist, particularly known for his work at the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory. He was a pioneer in modern Danish ceramics, celebrated for his unique sculptural forms and richly glazed surfaces. His works often draw on biblical and mythological themes, which he combined with a distinctive expressionist style. Jais Nielsen’s art is highly valued and sought after both nationally and internationally.

- If you do not find there is a suitable shipping solution, you have the option to cancel your purchase or choose another solution.
- When goods and a suitable freight solution is agreed, the amount of the goods purchased is proceeded deducted from your account (unless the payment has already been made via bank transfer.)
- The cost of freight is invoiced by the transport company.
- The goods are shipped / picked up as agreed.
