Atmospheric oil painting executed around 1900.
The composition depicts a reclining female figure in a richly decorated interior surrounded by flowers, textiles and ornamental details. Warm, vibrant colours combined with the richly textured surface create an intimate atmosphere with an almost dreamlike quality.
Executed in oil on canvas with pronounced impasto, the thick application of paint adds remarkable depth and character to the composition.
The artist remains unidentified. A handwritten inscription with the initials "B.F.F." appears on the reverse.
Presented in good vintage condition with age-related patina and wear consistent with age.

- When goods and a suitable freight solution is agreed, the amount of the goods purchased is proceeded deducted from your account (unless the payment has already been made via bank transfer.)
