Nikolaus Wehding was a Danish visual artist whose work is celebrated for its bold use of colour and fluid, energetic line. Active throughout much of the 20th century, Wehding often drew inspiration from nature, animals, and movement. His preferred mediums included watercolour, gouache, and printmaking, all of which he used to create works marked by vitality, rhythm, and a strong sense of composition.
