Pair of Swedish chest of drawers / commodes in the Gustavian style, crafted from pine and painted in light blue with a beautiful patina and contrasting details in dark blue and yellow.
The commodes feature moulded tops and fronts decorated with characteristic geometric motifs. The smaller upper drawer is decorated with a dark blue meander border (à la grecque) and a pair of opposing yellow winged griffins flanking the central brass pull.
Below are two larger drawers with geometric decoration, circular brass pulls and escutcheons. The canted front corners are decorated with fluting and carved ornaments beneath the top.
Raised on tapered, fluted legs.
A highly decorative pair, particularly distinguished by the interplay of the different shades of blue and the strong geometric decoration.
Sold as a pair.

We would prefer being noticed no later than 2 days before the goods are picked up.
2. You prefer our help finding the best possible shipping solution.
In this case, we will ALWAYS contact you later to agree on options and prices.
- If you do not find there is a suitable shipping solution, you have the option to cancel your purchase or choose another solution.
- When goods and a suitable freight solution is agreed, the amount of the goods purchased is proceeded deducted from your account (unless the payment has already been made via bank transfer.)
- The cost of freight is invoiced by the transport company.
- The goods are shipped / picked up as agreed.
