Louis XVI Corner Cabinet Crafted in Oak with Exceptional Cabinetmaking and Elegant Details This exquisite cabinet consists of two parts: a base and an upper section.
The base features a curved front with dentil molding and triangular wood carvings under the top plate. The curved doors are adorned with elegant fluted panels framed with profiled moldings. The side panels of the doors are detailed with rope-carved moldings, a carved bow with foliage at the top, and a lily motif at the bottom.
The upper section is crowned with a finely carved cornice featuring dentil molding. The doors have a curved top and panels with the same intricate details as the lower section, while the sides are finished with refined wood carvings. The cabinet is completed with a profiled molding and elegant legs.
Retaining its original locks, this piece is in excellent, original condition. A highly decorative cabinet of superb quality, showcasing outstanding cabinetmaking and woodcarving craftsmanship. Denmark, 1780-1790.
