19th Century Chinese Lacquer Cabinet with Original Hand-Painted Decorations, Gansu Province

A cabinet from Gansu Province, crafted in elm wood and preserved with its original lacquered surfaces.
The front features a deep red lacquer, framed by hand-painted decorations of flowers, foliage etc.
The top is finished in red lacquer, while the sides are coated in black lacquer, creating a harmonious contrast.
The front includes a pair of doors with a round, patinated brass fitting, with additional panels on each side that can be opened (see photo). Behind the doors are shelves.
It remains in its original condition with a natural, age-related patina, enhanced by a clear lacquer finish.

- If you do not find there is a suitable shipping solution, you have the option to cancel your purchase or choose another solution.
- When goods and a suitable freight solution is agreed, the amount of the goods purchased is proceeded deducted from your account (unless the payment has already been made via bank transfer.)
