Lidded Jar by Kresten Bloch & Knud Andersen for Royal Copenhagen, 1957
An elegant lidded jar in stoneware, richly decorated with a deep oxblood glaze. The piece is mounted with a lid and foot in partially gilded and patinated bronze by Knud Andersen.
Created in 1957, this work bears the monogram ‘KB’, the three Royal Copenhagen waves, and the factory hallmark. Both lid and foot are stamped ‘KA’.
First quality.
